Meetups and conferences are what we all need. Less than a month to go now! Have you booked your place yet?
Sharing experience with each other is great for everyone. The ones who are new in the field get a chance to hear from them who have more expertise and the experienced ones can hear new ideas from fresh minds.
Here is a great one organized by aginext.io in London for Agile Practitioners interested in the most advanced Agile practices as well as the emerging ones. The company came up with the idea of the conference on the 15th birthday of the Agile Manifesto which started on February 11-13, 2001, at The Lodge at Snowbird ski resort in the Wasatch mountains of Utah, when seventeen people met to talk, ski, relax, try to find common ground—and of course, to eat. What emerged was the Agile ‘Software Development’ Manifesto. Representatives from Extreme Programming, SCRUM, DSDM, Adaptive Software Development, Crystal, Feature-Driven Development, Pragmatic Programming, and others sympathetic to the need for an alternative to documentation driven, heavyweight software development processes convened.
In 2016 aginext.io organised the first Agile conference, as a continuation of Agile Manifesto. The next one is going to take place on March 22/23 2018.
You’ll have a great chance to discuss with Agile gurus, participate in the workshops, hear from coaches and speakers, get a lot of acquaintances and make friends!
This time aginext.io proudly represents Dave Snowden, a researcher in knowledge management and complexity theory, and Antony Marcano, a Trainer and Agile Coach.
The conference program consists of 30 interesting talks and workshops, ranging from topics like “The business impact of its quality” and “Introducing the healing organisation” to “What can putting a man on the moon teach us about Agile?” and “Understanding how to get your demons work for you”.
Here are a few of the speakers:
Luca Minduel, who is a Lean-Agile Coach & Trainer with 15 years of experience in Lean/Agile and 20+ in professional software delivery.
