Senior QA Lead

Senior QA Lead

Website TAMIGO ApS

Since 2006, tamigo has been a vital business partner for international enterprises and medium-sized companies, mainly within retail and hospitality. Our solution helps companies get ahead by optimising operations and staff management, increasing sales, reducing labour costs, automating workflows, and empowering their employees through effective communication. More than 200,000 end-users across Europe use tamigo in their daily work.

Are you a strategically minded QA Lead excited by taking ownership of a product used by enterprises throughout Europe? Then this role is for you.

As our cloud-based Workforce Management solution is used by an ever-increasing number of enterprises, the demands in terms of its performance and ease of use continue to grow.

We are therefore looking for a Senior QA Lead, who will take the quality of our solution to the next level and prepare it for future expansion.

As our new Senior QA Lead, you will give strategic guidance to the whole QA department by creating and implementing test strategies, defining and executing QA projects, and enhancing overall testing procedures. You will take ownership of planning and workflows and serve as a functional mentor to an international team of three testers located in Copenhagen and Poland. As the Senior QA Lead, you will set the strategy for testing the product and help the rest of the team improve their test planning abilities. You have a methodical and analytical approach to quality and are curious about existing processes in order to enhance them. While you enjoy the strategic part of QA, you are also hands-on, and your focus is on planning and executing rather than managing QA activities. As we are gradually moving towards increased automation, it will fall on you to take a lead on these initiatives and combine them into a unified approach.

Our QA department is fully integrated into the Product Development team, and you will work closely with colleagues in all our offices across Copenhagen, Maribor, and Warsaw. To be effective in this capacity, you must understand the full product development process and be prepared to collaborate across functions for the benefit of the product and the end-customer.

Your responsibilities:

  • Create and implement test strategies
  • Define and execute QA projects for web applications, mobile iOS/Android, and API testing
  • Run weekly meetings for the QA team, set the overall direction of the team’s activities
  • Mentor team members and help them develop their test planning skills
  • Be the voice of QA in the Development team
  • Develop a unified approach to test automation
  • Challenge status quo of testing procedures in the interest of a better product

You bring:

  • A proven record of creating and implementing test strategies
  • Minimum 3 years of manual testing experience with different testing methods, such as manual testing, such as Selenium and API based testing through Leapwork
  • Experience working with Agile development
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant subject. Maybe you have an ISTQB certification or something similar

What is in it for you?

  • An exciting role where you can have direct influence on our product and the experience of users across Europe
  • The opportunity to develop your leadership and mentoring skills
  • As a scale up SaaS company, we value initiative and an entrepreneurial spirit, and we give you latitude to realise both
  • We prioritise a healthy work-life balance, including health initiatives and flexible work structures
  • Our team is dynamic and international with more than 25 different nationalities
  • A beautiful office next to Østerport station with delicious lunch catered every day
  • Fun social events all year round
  • A hybrid workplace
