You read it correctly… A day in the life of a Cloudwise developer is slightly different from a day in the life of a ‘normal’ developer. But what makes it so different?

Can you tell us what a developer’s working day looks like?

The nice thing about working at Cloudwise is that almost no day is the same. The role of a developer is very diverse here. COOL Check, for example, our new app is divided into small pieces in terms of architecture. As a developer, you are each responsible for a part of the code because the front-end has been converted into multiple modular pieces with Angular. Better yet, as a developer, you are working independently as part of a professional team. Treating it as your own business. Our team of passionate software developers ensures that the global online learning platform COOL is even more fun and easier to use for teachers and students. We develop everything ourselves, so there is plenty of room to try out our own creative ideas.

What makes working at Cloudwise so special?

The first thing you notice when you enter Cloudwise is its playful character. The office in Woerden has meeting rooms with school themes such as the Gym, which is covered with gymnastics rings, climbing ropes and a climbing frame. And if you want to improve your high score, you can do that in the #Funzone where you can play against your colleagues on a game console or a real arcade game cabinet next to a game of table soccer. You, therefore, work in an environment that is completely in line with that of the schools we work with.
