Experience
- BSc (or equivalent) education in Accounting or Business
- Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable accounting in international environments
- Experience working in English
Typically we expect you to have at least 3-4 years of experience in similar roles, or with an audit firm.
Responsibilities
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable and accounts receivable data
- Preparing invoices, bank deposits, and payments
- Documenting workflows
- Setting up and managing vendors and customers in the accounting system
- Communicating with vendors and customers
- Comparing purchase orders, deliveries, and invoices
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.
In this role you will initially work on both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations, for various local and international group companies, and report to the group’s Head of Finance and Legal. As the group grows, and depending on your performance and preferences, it is possible that your role may specialise in one of the two directions (AP/AR) within 6 to 12 months. Typical responsibilities would initially include the ones above.
