BeMyApp (BMA) WeekEnd Mobile App Olympics 2012 is a three-day mobile app development competition. The event’s goal is to be a platform focused on building successful startups around the next generation mobile applications and to foster a global community of entrepreneurs.
Registered idea generators are given 1 minute to pitch an app concept to a tech audience on day one. Attending engineers and designers as well as our team of glorious mentors preselect the best ideas that will be developed into applications during the weekend. Teams are formed around the most promising projects and the competition begins.

In 2012, Techmeetups is growing the BeMyApp Weekend bigger by holding it in 2 cities, London & New York, simultaneously on the weekend of February 24-26.
Multiple Platforms – for the first time BMA will be platform-neutral meaning it is open to everybody!
More Developers – BMA London in November 2011 was publicized heavily to the app developer community which has placed the event firmly in the calendars of future participants
Pre-BMA Startup Masterclass – TMU through its TechStartHub brand will be hosting a pre-BMA Mobile App Development and Marketing Masterclass on 15th February to prepare participants for building an app in record time
Support Services – TMU has introduced a range of support services for BMA teams including fundraising and expert mentoring
Stronger ties with media – TMU has built strong relationships with tech journalists ensuring increased media coverage of future events
TMU Global Expansion – TMU has setup New York Silicon Alley Meetup Group allowing us to promote the event on both sides of the Atlantic.
